Graeme Swann, 39, has let slip he found it difficult to watch Strictly Come Dancing following his elimination.
The former England cricketer said he hoped the BBC show would replace the “buzz” he got from playing an international sport.
He and professional dance partner Oti Mabuse, 28, were voted off the show in week 10 after failing to impress the judges with their quickstep routine.
Admitting he felt “flat” after his departure, he began: “It's flat to be honest, because it's a bubble that you live in.
I sat down looking forward to it, then the music started and I walked out the room

“Part of the reason I did it was that I missed the pressure and high-intensity of professional sport.”
He continued: “The second you finish, that is it.”
Presumably suggesting he lost his mojo after bowing out of the competition, the sportsman added: “You're back to reality and doing the school run.
“I used to struggle with it. You do get a buzz.”
The father-of-two shared: "It's like breaking up with somebody you never went out with. It's really weird."
After leaving Strictly Come Dancing, Graeme found it hard to watch his fellow dancers continue in the contest without him.
