Former TV presenter Henry Golding was introduced in one of the starring roles and now is a hot favourite to be the first mixed-race James Bond. Now he features in a couple of Crazy Rich Asians’ deleted scenes channelling the emotional and humorous side of his character. In the first scene, Nick is having a frank and almost teary conversation with his mother Eleanor, played by Michelle Yeoh. Poor Nick laments his family’s obsession with wealth and class in the face of him wanting to marry the woman he loves. Meanwhile, the second scene reveals how Nick managed to get Colin off the bachelor party rig. The amusing scene sees an air ambulance taking Colin away on a stretcher, as Nick explains to the organiser that he’s been taken ill.
