Game of Thrones fans have been treated to two teaser promos so far ahead of the season eight premiere date on HBO on April 14, 2019. While first glimpses at Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) were revealed in the second teaser trailer entitled Crypts of Winterfell, die-hard fans want to know when they can catch a glimpse of upcoming action from the new series in an actual Game of Thrones season eight trailer. So here’s when Game of Thrones fanatics can expect the season eight trailer’s release.
Game of Thrones released its first teaser trailer, entitled Dragonstone, on December 6, 2018.
HBO then waited a month before dropping the second Game of Thrones teaser promo, entitled Crypts of Winterfell.
Crypts of Winterfell provided the first glimpse at the surviving members of the Stark family – Jon Snow, Arya Stark, and Sansa Stark, although fans were quick to question why Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) wasn’t in the latest Game of Thrones promo.
Both Game of Thrones trailers so far, however, haven’t revealed any clips or spoilers from the upcoming season.
Game of Thrones’ fans wait for a glimpse at season eight episodes may be prolonged a while longer, as a release date for a third trailer hasn’t been shared by show bosses.

A trailer is on its way though, with show producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss confirming the news to Entertainment Weekly.
Benioff told EW: “[David Lynch] was saying he wished there were no trailers, and it’s true, you could just go into a movie and see something completely fresh."
