EastEnders is renowned for showcasing its various methods of attempting to kill people off.
And this Christmas was no different as Alfie Moon (played by Shane Richie) was brutally thrown down the stairs by Hayley Slater (Katie Jarvis).
And although he didn’t die, he was damn-near close to it.
Since then Alfie has rekindled his relationship with his family (even though it looks like he is planning something devious).
This evening Shane appeared on BBC’s The One Show to discuss his new role as drag queen Loco Chanel in the West End show “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.”
His role preparation prompted Shane to arrive on set in high heels - gaining further practice wherever he could.
And after showing off his growing talents Shane went on to say that he has been thinking about his new role during filming EastEnders.
To which host Greg James asked: “Is that why [you got pushed down the stairs]? Because of the heels?”
