The survey also revealed the UK was divided over whether it should delay Brexit or if the Government was right to hold the 2016 vote. According to the Sky Data poll, 56 percent said they were opposed to another public vote. The data comes as Theresa May addresses Parliament today as she looks to set out the initial plans of her revised Brexit deal.
Speaking on the Andrew Marr show International Trade Secretary, Liam Fox said: “You've got a Leave population and a Remain Parliament.
"Parliament has not got the right to hijack the Brexit process because Parliament said to the people of this country 'We make a contract with you, you will make the decision and we will honour it.’
"What we are now getting is some of those who always absolutely opposed the result of the referendum trying to hijack Brexit and in fact steal the result from the people."
After her Brexit deal was emphatically rejected last week Mrs May is now under serious pressure to present a plan that will pass through the Commons.
