The mythical city first written about by Plato has inspired many to dedicate their lives to trying to find it. However, it may have been hiding in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean all along. According to historians, the Canary Islands may have once been connected, forming a much larger piece of land, which may be the answer to Plato's description.
