Cruise lines have been put under the spotlight by consumer watchdog Which?, with a relatively new firm scooping the top title. Viking Ocean Cruises UK has been hailed the best of its kind during a survey of 20 companies, with the results gained from customer feedback. A total of 25,000 people were surveyed and grilled on 11 separate questions about cabin space, on board facilities, wiFi service and overall value. Viking topped out at an average of £335 per night, with an average customer satisfaction of 88 percent.
It scooped five stars across all categories for its vessels equipped with libraries and planetariums, falling only to four stars in the Entertainment category.
Which? described the Viking cruise experience as “a well-organised, culturally immersive and intimate cruising experience.”
