Coronation Street murderer Clayton (played by Callum Harrison) was spotted attending his father’s funeral on the ITV soap.
New photos show the character at a graveyard attending his father’s funeral with his mother Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding).
Further snaps tease the day will descend into chaos as Macca, one of Clayton's friends, is lying in wait to strike to help the killer's escape.
Making his return soon as part of the death storyline, the word “Dad” can be seen spelt out in flowers at the back of the hearse.
Clayton has been locked up and it provides the biggest challenge to David and Shona’s relationship since the Josh story

Loyal fans of the show will remember Dane had an abusive relationship with Shona.
He was even seen to threaten her and boyfriend David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd).
Clayton is in prison after murdering David’s wife Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) in emotional scenes.
The thug stabbed Kylie to death after a knocking Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) out during a failed robbery at the kebab shop.
He was sentenced to 15 years for Kylie’s murder and doesn’t look set to be released early.
New pictures show him handcuffed to an officer at the funeral.
