Gemma Collins told her 1.2 million Instagram followers she had had a “tough week” following her explosive row with Dancing On Ice 2019 judge Jason Gardiner.

The Only Way Is Essex star and the 47-year-old choreographer came to blows after he criticised her Marilyn Monroe themed routine on Sunday night’s episode of the ITV series.

Sharing her appreciation for fans who defended her talking back to the judge, Gemma wrote: “Thank you to everyone who supported me.”

“It’s been a tough week,” the 37-year-old reality star added.

She also tagged Good Morning Britain host, Piers Morgan, in her post after he backed The Only Way Is Essex star.

Piers, 53, hit out at Jason after Sunday’s instalment of the ITV programme, branding him “unprofessional” and declared he was firmly on “Team Collins.”

The presenter went on to say he thought Jason was “body shaming” the reality television star by claiming viewers wouldn’t see her “doing any lifts”.

“He likes to pick on people, which is fine if you can take it back, but he can’t,” the father-of-four said.

“But for him to go on a national newspaper and trash her the way he did.

“You shouldn’t be abusive of people you’ve asked to take part in your show, if you’ve asked people to compete, don’t do that!”
