‘Who knows?’ Eamonn Holmes drops huge #ThisMorning bombshell

ITV THIS MORNING aired on Sunday for the first time last week but now it seems the popular magazine show could air seven days a week.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV weekdays from 10.30am until 12.30pm but last weekend, an hour-long special was broadcast on Sunday.

The show was presented by husband and wife duo Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

While the episode may have divided viewers, Eamonn has hinted due to the show’s good ratings, it may lead to it airing over seven days.

He teased: “It’s all good. It clocked up well in the ratings - there seems to be a nice hole in the market for it.

“Which is nice for people, and maybe it will lead to seven days, who knows?”

The 59-year-old continued to The Sun: “Well you know, it is what it is.

“It’s nice. I think most people are quite happy that it gives them another option on a Sunday.”

This Morning Sunday went up against Sunday Brunch, which is hosted by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.

Eamonn and Ruth fronted the extra episode on Sunday which included highlights from the week as well as new segments.
