ITV #weather star Lucy Verasamy speaks of ‘insane’ record-breaking news

Good Morning Britain and ITV star Lucy Verasamy, 38, took to Twitter to share posts of the weather Down Under and commented on the affect it can have on the koalas out there. One of Lucy’s posts taken from The Guardian’s Australia Instagram page showed a koala sitting with their paws in a bowl of water. Another showed the weather map showing which areas in Oz will have the 45 degrees heat. Lucy shared the posts in view of her 160,000 followers, she wrote: “Insane heat in Oz today - loads of #heatwave records broken with over 46C in Adelaide.”

A friend and fellow metrologist then shared a series of facts about the weather out there, to which she responded: “Phil keeping it in context - those poor koalas though.”

Many of her other followers commented on the news.

One user commented: “Shame the UK was not in a different part of the world."

A second wrote: “Yep, not been pleasant at all today in Adelaide. It's still 37 degrees at 10pm!”

A third penned: “More signs that it’s heating up around the world! Not that you would know that here in Chiswick.”

The brunette beauty shared a weather map of the areas likely to get snow in the upcoming days.

She commented: “Radar imagery for 7.15am (left) & 9am (right). Rain (blue) in west but mix of sleet (green) & snow (red) in the east. Freezing & icy.”

The UK weather may come as good news for Lucy as she previously revealed her favourite weather is the snow.
