Carla (played by Alison King) will become obsessed with her commitments to work next week on Coronation Street, as the character takes on a harrowing storyline, which will take a toll on her mental health.
However, on the side lines, her passion with former flame Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will be reignited.
Though this time, she faces competition from fellow Weatherfield resident Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) who is set to turn Peter’s head in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap.

Carla eventually ended up buying Peter a dishevelled boat which he could work on to keep his mind occupied.
However, her plans lead Peter and Abi to grow closer as with her mechanical training, Abi agrees to help Peter work on the vessel.
