Meghan Markle, 37, and Prince Harry, 34, will soon become parents to their first child when the Duchess of Sussex gives birth in the spring. When their pregnancy was announced, Kensington Palace revealed weeks later that the couple will be moving into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. The property is undergoing millions of pounds worth of renovations, and Meghan is said to be “very involved” in the designs of their new home. The couple’s first baby will arrive in a matter of weeks, and the royal tot’s nursery is apparently fully prepared for the new addition.

The Duke and Duchess have made a number of huge changes to the Grade-II listed building, but are also said to have kept the property’s original floorboards and shutters.
A source told MailOnline: “It is a very expensive affair. Frogmore Cottage is in an extremely run-down condition and is needing a lot of TLC and heavy restoration to bring it up to standard ahead of the Duke and Duchess' moving in date.
“As a result, it is set to cost between £2million and £3million for the whole project. It is being specially designed to ensure that the family has a comfortable country life away from the hustle and bustle of London where they are living now.
“The Duchess is very involved in the project and wants a home that is perfect for her, the Duke and her new baby. She has been corresponding with the planning team regularly as to what she wants.
