#GMB presenter in hysterics after major weather blunder

It came as hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shepherd introduced the weather forecast on Good Morning Britain which was to be delivered by Alex Beresford.

However, the advert that was in place between the segments was suddenly cut short on the ITV show.

It was clear Alex had been brought on prematurely as for a moment he awkwardly looked at the camera.

He addressed the issue, although was clearly tickled by the situation as he laughed: “Hey! Coming to me a bit early, well I need the time.”

Alex then went on to give the weather report as he expertly recovered from the gaffe.

Today on the breakfast show weather was at the centre of plenty of the news items.

Due to heavy snow in some parts of the country, some places had been brought to a standstill with schools closed and some students even being trapped inside.

Martin Swain was in Chippenham which has experienced a large snowfall.

He was out on a residential street interacting with neighbours and he even took part in a snowball fight.
