Dancing On Ice 2019 saw the return of the celebrities hitting the ice last weekend, and with great results.

Gemma Collins was once again the star of the show as she performed perhaps her best routine yet.

However disaster struck in the final moments of her performance, as she tragically fell forward and landed on her face.

Despite this tumble, Gemma got back up and smiled her way back to the judges’ table, where she resumed her place on the show.

Viewers seem to be enjoying the ongoing drama at the moment, as the viewing figures for this year’s edition of Dancing On Ice have been revealed.

Last Sunday night’s episode saw 6.1 million people tuning in to watch Gemma’s return to the ice.

The dramatic instalment also boasted a 31 per cent viewer share.

And that isn’t all the good news for the skating show, as it went on to see a peak of 7.6 million viewers over the evening - giving it an incredible lead over its competition.

These figures were excellent for the show, as this Sunday saw the highest ratings
