Gemma, 37, has become the talking point of this year’s series of Dancing On Ice, with the reality TV star facing numerous hurdles only four weeks into the ITV dance show.
Hoping to show viewers and the ice panel she had the ability to go far in the series, Gemma put her all into the routine she had rehearsed to It’s All Coming Back To Me by Celine Dion.
However, as the performance was wrapping up, Gemma stumbled and ended up face planting the ice before getting back on her feet and finishing the routine with Matt Evers, 42.
After she received her critique from the judges, Gemma made her way backstage and now her boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent, 31, has revealed what really happened away from the cameras.

Arg made an appearance on Sunday night’s show to inform hosts Phillip Schofield, 56, and Holly Willoughby, 37, Gemma was shaken by the incident.
However, appearing on ITV panel show Loose Women earlier today Arg went into more detail about Gemma’s initial reaction to the fall.
He said: “I know Gemma better. She got up and put on a smiling face but she went backstage and the runner had to come and grab me because she's crying her eyes out.
“She was so embarrassed,” the reality TV star revealed.
“As much as she loves being The GC, she does have heart and thought, 'Everyone's going to me fun of me.'
“She had two big ice packs on her knees, crying, and I was like, 'Look Gemma, get yourself together, you've worked so hard in your routine,' probably the reason why she feel is she put everything into it.”
