EastEnders bad boy Hunter Owen (played by Charlie Winter) has been struggling to deal with the grandeur of his recent actions.
After brutally murdering his father, Ray Kelly (Sean Mahon), Hunter has seemed a little unhinged.
And this hasn’t gone unnoticed by his mother, Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite).
As the pair have recently returned to Albert Square to masquerade their normals lives once again, the reality of the situation seems to have finally caught up with Hunter.
In episodes airing this week Mel will be overcome with fear as she begins noticing Hunter’s issues.
And in a desperate attempt to keep her boy safe, Mel decides to lock Hunter in the house where he can’t hurt himself.
This doesn’t exactly go to plan, however, as Hunter eventually finds a way out of the building and runs away.
Mel is left bereft with worry as her unstable son is nowhere to be seen.
But as her fears grow even larger, Mel opts to take an even more drastic step.
She goes on to remove all of the knives from the house in an attempt to remove any risk of Hunter hurting himself.
