Pointless Celebrities aired this evening and welcomed a number of celebrities arrive for the family edition of the show.
Included in the show was broadcast and radio presenter Les Dennis and his niece Steph.
And as they introduced each other they included the colloquial term “our” in front of each name.
This left Les to introduce “Our Steph” to hosts Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman.
He went on to explain: “We call each other ‘our Les’ and ‘our Steph'.
“‘Cause that’s what you do in Liverpool - isn’t it? You don’t have a family member who isn’t an ‘our’.”
Richard then jumped in to make a quick joke about the term.
He announced: “That’s why you should never call your daughter Kelly if you live in Liverpool!”
But fans were quick to speak out about the joke, as they wrote on Twitter.
One said: “Ooh… Not sure the R. Kelly joke works in today's environment #pointlesscelebrities.”
