SAS: Who Dares Wins saw yet another collection of horrific challenges take place this evening.
The first of which was crossing a ravine by walking across a rickety ladder. This seemed to shock recruit 17, Vicky.
Unfortunately for her, the staff noticed her apprehension and wanted to know why she struggled with the challenge so much.
Vicky was pulled into the interrogation room to discuss her fears with Mark Billingham and Ollie Ollerton.
Stoically greeting his recruit, Mark explained to Vicky it looked like she was “struggling to control her fears”.
He added: “You’re beginning to break a little bit, mentally.”
Vicky then detailed the harrowing story from her childhood, which involved her and her sister almost drowning.
She began: “I’ve never been a strong swimmer.
“And I’ve got a long memory of when I was a child nearly drowning, and nearly drowning my sister.”
The emotional recruit went on to explain she had ventured out onto a jetty with her sibling where they both slipped into the deep water.
