A month today Craig will begin principal photography on James Bond 25 at Pinewood Studios. As is tradition, a press conference beforehand is expected to reveal the film’s cast and title. And now some shooting locations abroad may have been revealed. MI6 HQ reports that local Italian press says Bond producers have confirmed filming in Matera, in southern Italy.
The city is a “rocky outcrop in the region of Basilicata” and “includes the Sassi area, a complex of cave dwellings carved into the mountainside.”
Allegedly Bond 25 may be shot in the area’s historic centre from April 6.
Aside from this a claimed source on Reddit says Athens, Greece is also likely to appear in the new movie.
Specifically, the SNFCC (Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre) which has new facilities including the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera. Meanwhile, Norway will appear in Bond 25.
