#EastEnders favourite makes a HUGE decision leading to a double exit?

Masood (played by Nitin Ganatra) has become a much loved face on EastEnders since he arrived alongside his family 12 years ago on the BBC soap.

The chef's exit storyline will begin on EastEnders next week, as the culinary master is dealt some unexpected news.

In upcoming scenes, Masood will learn his son Tamwar Masood (Himesh Patel) has got engaged to his girlfriend Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) with the pair to tie the knot in Australia.

On top of the news, Masood will also be reunited with his love interest Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) as Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) mother took a break from the Square.

Returning to Walford, Kathy reveals she wants to give her romance with Masood another chance, as their spark was defused by Ian when he found the pair kissing last year.

Devastated by his mother romancing his business rival and now partner, Ian voiced strong opinions and ultimately led Kathy to chose her son over Masood.

Masood is unnerved by Kathy’s idea at first as he knows he may be leaving the Square, but the chef comes up with an idea to keep Kathy in his life.

Asking Kathy to join him as his guest for Tamwar’s wedding in Australia, Kathy is thrilled and happily accepts.

However, the café barista is left with a dilemma when Masood tell her he could be staying in Australia permanently and he would like her to leave the Square with him.

As Ian learnt in last night’s instalment his son Bobby Beale (Eliot Carrington) would be released from juvenile detention later this year after killing his sister Lucy Beale
