Shameless season 10 has been given the go-ahead by US TV network Showtime after a hugely successful first nine seasons. Shameless season nine is approaching its final episode, leaving fans excited for another series of Shameless to air. But will Shameless season 10 be the final series? Shameless season 10 will the next series of the Showtime hit comedy-drama.
Showtime is yet to announce whether or not Shameless season 10 will be the network’s final series, however.
Season 10’s renewal came as no surprise to fans when it was announced by Showtime president Gary Levine in January 2019.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour, Levine said: “The Gallaghers are a force of nature, and they are coming back.”

The Showtime exec continued: “Shameless, with its ever-growing fan base, is like no other show on television.
“We are thrilled it will live on with its unique blend of love and larceny on Showtime.”
Levine failed to mention whether or not season 10 would be the final series but did reveal a number of details about the next instalment.
