Casualty is seriously heating up and it seems Connie Beauchamp (played by Amanda Mealing) will be at the centre of the drama.
The BBC stalwart will be forced to confront her demons in the coming weeks following a tragic loss at Holby.
She is usually extremely calm under pressure, but it seems one death in particular has got to her.
Connie leaves work stressed and tired following a hectic day in A&E.
But she doesn’t expect to be confronted by the daughter of one of Connie’s patients who sadly passed away.
Connie keeps a level-head and is forced to explain she couldn’t do any more for the deceased.
It seems that’s enough for the family, and the doctor turns to walk up some stairs.
However, poor Connie doesn’t realise she’s been followed and is horrified to discover there’s someone following her.
