Meghan Markle has been hailed as a breath of fresh air to the Firm since she began settling down in her new role as Duchess of Sussex. But while the royal has begun to bring her creative touch to the role – at times sparking criticism for breaking with tradition – royal commentator Angela Mollard warned the Duchess "will make mistakes" as she learns to navigate royal circles. Speaking to Sunrise, Ms Mollard said: "She’s original, she’s creative, she thinks of new ideas, she doesn’t wear the crown and the jewels and then goes and to things by pets.
"She’s actually thinking of new ideas and ways of doing things and it’s quite purposeful about it. I think it’s rather sweet."
The royal commentator continued: "But I think Meghan Markle will make a mistake. Sorry, the Duchess of Sussex will make a mistake.
"Someday soon – she’s a bit renegade, she follows her own tune – and at some point, it will go wrong. At the moment though, it’s interesting."
The Duchess was praised during one of her latest official outings after she spontaneously decided to write down a personal message on bananas set to be distributed to Bristol sex workers.
