Nightflyers viewers followed Karl D’Branin (played by Eoin Macken) looking for peace after losing his daughter by venturing out and looking for alien life.
Throughout the show’s ten episodes it has been hinted that the alien life - the Volcryn - have some sort of time and space powers.
This key piece of information forces Karl into a situation whereby he must find the aliens by any means necessary.
Karl actor Eoin recently spoke to Express.co.uk to discuss the show, and how its final episode could progress into season two.
On what could happen next, Eoin said: “I really don’t know, it actually really depends.”
He went on to explain: “The show sets up some really big philosophical ideas which is what’s so fascinating about it [and] where it goes.”
The show “could go in a lot of different directions” Eoin added, hinting that viewers may not be able to foresee the upcoming events.
On whether a second season would work, he went on: “So I think if we do end up doing a second season it’s going to be fascinating.
“There are some big creative choices they’re going to have to make.”
