Louise Redknapp was asked how she was spending Valentine’s Day next week during an interview on radio station Heart yesterday. The Eternal star said she “hates” the celebration “now”, hinting it was because of her divorce from husband Jamie Redknapp. The 44-year-old, who wed the ex-footballer in 1998, spoke about how she was going to spend February 14 during her chat with Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin. She suggested she was “told old” to mark the day of love, however her pal and host, 48, was having none of it.

He asked: “And watch how cleverly I disguise this question – it’s Valentine’s Day in a week’s time, have you got anything planned?”
“Oh god!” Louise remarked, as she laughed. “Do you know what, no! I hate Valentine’s Day now!”
