Jacob Rees-Mogg HILARIOUSLY tears into Tusk's jibe with WW1 song - 'Hell for ...

Jacob Rees-Mogg hit back at EU Council President Donald Tusk after the top eurocrats suggested politicians backing Brexit would be reserved a "special place in Hell" for allegedly failing to present a plant for an orderly withdrawal. The North Somerset MP responded to the verbal attack with the use of a World War 1 song indicating the eurocrat will instead be facing a stay in the netherworld due to a crumbling European Union. The Brexiteer blasted the tune on his weekly LBC show: "The Bells of Hell go ting-a-ling-a-ling for you but not for me. And the little devils all sing-aling-aling for you but not for me."

Mr Rees-Mogg said: "Now, many of you will recognise that First World War tune.

"I can’t claim I was there at the time – I’m not that old – but the bells of hells go ting-a-ling for you but not for me, Mr Tusk, I think is the answer as your European Union is in endless trouble."

He continued: "The EU looks to be in an awful muddle and all its President can do is make rude remarks about the British. But we don’t really mind because we laugh at Mr Tusk.

"We say Tusk Tusk to the President, one of the five Presidents of the European Union."
