Pokemon Go developer Niantic has surprised fans with a special friendship event for the weekend.
The latest Pokemon Go event rewards players with various bonuses for trading and making friends.
Friendship levels will increase twice as fast for the duration of the weekend, while trades require half the Stardust.
Better yet, you'll receive double Candy for every trade you make over the weekend.
The Pokemon Go Friend event runs between February 8 and 9pm UK time on February 11, so there's still time to take advantage of all the bonuses.
