BAFTA was aired on BBC One this evening and saw a number of incredible actors and actresses being awarded. But as the show began, host Joanna Lumley flew through a number of jokes which didn’t exactly land. She began by making jokes about Rami Malek’s moustache in “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and jibed about the film “BlacKkKlansman.” And fans on Twitter were quick to point out Joanna’s jokes were not exactly working. One wrote: “This is cringe #EEBAFTAs sorry Joanna love.” Another said: “Crikey - who wrote these gags?! #EEBAFTAs.” While a third added: “Painfully unfunny. #baftas #EEBAFTAs “Joanna Lumley bombing here… #BAFTA #EEBAFTAs,” suggest another. One fan offered: “Oh, Joanna, these really are terrible jokes. “Klan Film Festival and illegal war? Honestly, this is painful. #BAFTA #EEBAFTAs.” More to follow…All rights reserved for this news site express.co.uk and under his responsibility
