The Duchess of Sussex recently paid a visit to Bristol-based One25, which aims to improve the lives of sex workers, and has since found fame across the globe. Meghan’s visit raised awareness of their work helping women break free from sex work, homelessness and addiction, and resulted in the first ever donations from overseas. The charity has been sent hundreds of pounds from donors in the US, New Zealand and Jamaica, as well as generous monetary gifts from Switzerland and Canada.
The Duchess toured the site earlier this month and helped pack food parcels.
The visit hit headlines after Meghan decided to write supportive messages on the bananas as she was packing.
These messages, written on in felt tip, included “You are strong”, “You are loved”, “You are brave” and “You are special”.
