#TheWalkingDead Fans FURY as major character is killed 'F*** off AMC'

WARNING: This article contains spoilers for The Walking Dead season nine, episode nine.

Jesus’s (played by Tom Payne) fate was revealed during the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead season nine, and it was not good news for fans of the show.

After being stabbed by The Whisperers, lead by Alpha (Samantha Morton) the fan-favourite’s lifeless body was seen laying in a graveyard moments before Aaron (Ross Marquand) rammed a knife into his head to prevent reanimation.

His body was then carried back to the Hilltop to allow the community, which he lead until his death, to say their final goodbyes.

Some fans of the show were furious with the character’s passing and took to social media to vent about his untimely death.

On Twitter, one person wrote: “I am so upset that Jesus was killed. I had such high hopes to see Aaron and Jesus as the next WD power couple.”

Another person posted an expletive-laden tweet, which read: “F*** off! Killing off Jesus makes me hate TWD TV show. Jesus is such a wicked, sick character and AMC idiots killed him. F*** OFF AMC.”(sic)

A third fan declared: “I have 0 hope for The Walking Dead. I hate this Whisperers concept and I miss Rick and Jesus.”’

Someone else tweeted: “D*** just catching up on The Walking Dead and can’t believe they got Jesus.”

A fifth commentator penned: “I will never forgive The Walking Dead for taking Jesus off the series. I will cry forever.”
