David Ibbotson is still missing after the plane crashed into the English Channel, as he was flying Argentine footballer Sala from Nantes in France to Cardiff. The wife and daughter of Mr Ibbotson issued a heartbreaking plea on Good Morning Britain saying they would not stop searching. Mr Ibbotson’s daughter said: “If you've got hope then you shouldn't give up. He wouldn't stop searching for me.
She added: "We still hope and pray, and hope everyone keeps my dad in their prayers."
Mr Ibbotson’s wife insisted “we can't leave him out there on his own.”
Nora said: “We know that he is dead, we do know that. But, we just want him home.
“We are a very close family, and I am quite privileged to have my children still at home with me and supporting me.
“We can't leave him out there on his own. Until we have tried to do everything that we can, this is why we have done the appeal, just for some help.”
