The Walking Dead got a batch of new villains last night on the hit AMC zombie show.
Last night, the Alexandrians come to terms with the loss of Jesus (played by Tom Payne), who was the first casualty of The Whisperers.
Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) were desperate to know who killed their comrade and were helpfully ambushed by some Whisperers.
They killed all of them, initially thinking they were walkers, but one survived.
Daryl ripped her mask off and stared into the eyes of Lydia (Cassidy McClincy).
And fans of the comic books will be very aware of the character, as she has been a staple of the cartoon series for a while.
In Robert Kirkman’s original, Lydia is befriended by Carl Grimes while she is locked up in the Alexandrian prison.
