#DancingOnIce star Gemma Collins takes swipe at female contestants

Dancing On Ice said goodbye to Gemma Collins last night after she lost out in the skate-off to Ryan Sidebottom.

The TOWIE diva was admittedly quite happy to be leaving the competition, acknowledging it was her time. 

Gemma appeared on This Morning earlier today to discuss her exit.

She spoke to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about some of the more challenging aspects of the show.

Specifically, the team talked about Jason Gardiner and all the issues Gemma had experienced with him.

The pair clashed after he said she was too big to be lifted.

Gemma said she respected Jason for his views, but acknowledged he was just “doing his job”. 

She continued: “I was fine with what he was saying about my skating but when he body-shamed me I felt embarrassed and I attacked back.

“We all knew I was never going to be able to get lifted.”
