The 43-year-old presenter, who is best known for fronting Channel 4’s A Place In The Sun, also hosts a series exploring some of the weirder and more wonderful measures accumulated by Britain’s avid collectors. In a previous episode, the blonde beauty was accompanied by her antiques expert pal Mark Hill to visit Margaret, a woman who was obsessive about royal memorabilia. A she ushered the pair into her house, all seemed relatively normal until they passed through a door into a room packed with trinkets from cups to tote bags to Princess Diana dolls. “Have you ever seen anything like it in your life?” Mark marvelled, as Jasmine Harman gasped loudly at the overwhelming sight.

“I’m astonished,” she announced.

In the voiceover, Mark revealed: “Margaret has been collecting royal memorabilia for almost 40 years.”

“And now she has an addiction to acquiring everything and anything related to royalty,” Jasmine continued.

“It starts small, it starts with one or two items,” the collector explained. “People start buying you things and you get more hooked.

“And, in the end, it’s almost like a lifeblood, really,” she added.
