Despite Nigel’s character Dennis being dead, it would not be unusual for EastEnders to bring back a former character to the soap. In new spoiler pictures, Stacey Fowler (played by Lacey Turner) and Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) can be seen to visit Dennis’ grave - but what to scriptwriters really have in mind surrounding the unusual graveside visit? In filming pictures, the pair can be seen hugging one another as they make their way to the graveside. At the time, Sharon believed she was infertile, but found out she was pregnant with Dennis Rickman Jr. This prompted Dennis’ last words to be “we did it” in reference to their unborn son, born six months after his death. Ultimately, it was revealed that Dennis was killed by Danny Moon (Jake Maskall) who was later shot to death in 2006 as he was about to kill Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp). Nigel went on to tease that a new storyline could involve Sharon, along with her current husband Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) who had manipulated him on the night of his “death”.
