Iqra Ahmed star spills on secret behind newcomers' arrival #EastEnders

Iqra (played by Priya Davdra) and Habiba (Rukku Nahar) are the granddaughters of Arshad (Madhav Sharma) and Mariam Ahmed (Indira Joshi).

They are also the nieces of EastEnders favourite Masood (Nitin Ganatra) who will be surprised when he sees the young women in the Square.

But it looks like the troublesome pair will be peddling lies to their uncle about their intentions on the BBC soap.

Now, Iqra star Priya has spilled the two of them are keen to look after the restaurant but there is more to them than meets the eye.

They are spinning Masood a few stories

She said: “They’re there for a reason. They are spinning Masood a few stories so they can stay and look after the restaurant.

“I don’t want to reveal too much but they come in with a clear goal in mind and they will do anything they can to get what they want.”

It looks as though the newcomers could go to some lengths to ensure they are able to stay put.

However, the pair won’t be cutting corners as they take care of the restaurant as Priya has divulged the characters want to do a good job.
