Apex Legends PS4 gamers hoping for crossplay with their Xbox One and PC counterparts have been given an update by Sony.
Apex Legends has only been out for just over a week but is already the hot new battle royale game of the moment.
The spinoff from the Titanfall universe has surged in popularity since launching as a free-to-play game on PS4, Xbox One and PCs.
In the space of a week the EA and Respawn game has already passed the 25million player milestone.
The news was revealed in a post online from EA, with the games giant adding that over the weekend Apex Legends hit over two million concurrent players.
Since its launch Apex Legends has been dominating Twitch, with the battle royale shooter the number one game right now.
It remains to be seen what updates get added to Apex Legends to keep this staggering momentum going.
There are rumours that ranked play could be coming to Apex Legends while the season 1 Battle Pass launch is just around the corner.
