BBC Weather presenter Stav Danaos explained that the UK should expect more mild temperatures this week as the wintery weather is put on hold. The BBC forecaster said it will be significantly drier across the country through the week and temperatures will stay within the teens during the day. He added that over the western hills there could also be some light rain and drizzle. He closed by saying: "It will be a very mild day across the board despite whether you have got sunshine or cloud. “Temperatures will range from 10 to 13 degrees.” The Met Office also warned the UK could see even higher temperatures as we approach the weekend. Met Office forecaster Becky Mitchell said temperatures could go as high as 15C by Thursday. Ms Mitchell said: ”It should stay reasonably dry today but fairly cloudy and in the afternoon Scotland and Northern Ireland could see some brighter skies. “Temperatures will be on the mild side.
