As EastEnders viewers will know, Dr Harold Legg (played by Leonard Fenton) is set to die soon.
His death will prompt some classic characters to come back to Albert Square as they bid farewell to the medic on the BBC soap.
Returning is George “Lofty” Holloway (Tom Watt) as well as Mary “The Punk” Smith (Linda Davidson), who will be bringing her daughter Annie (Marilyn O’Brien) with her.
Although they are set to be reappearing for just one episode, Lofty star Tom hasn’t ruled out another return.

The star has spoken out about whether he’d like to return for a longer stint.
"I don’t know, they’ve never said. But if they did [ask]? Yeah I like acting, I really like acting, it’s not that I’m not doing it because I don’t like acting, I’m not great at waiting for the phone to ring,” the actor told Digital Spy.
He added: "I love acting, I had a really good time. It’s harder work now though.
“They work a lot harder than we did. We did two episodes a week. They do twice as much.”
Mary and Lofty aren’t the only old residents coming back to the Square as further returns have also been announced.
