Amelia gave birth to the baby girl last month following a long battle with IVF treatment.
Today saw Matthew make a surprising declaration about his daughter as he declared her to be “better than Brexit”.
Matthew discussed how touched he and his wife had been at the outpouring of support from those on social media.
He explained: “One of the loveliest things I have to say is social media - to have the outpouring of love, the psychological affect is amazing.

“It carried me through everyone is so happy for us,” he continued.
Matthew then added: “Better than Brexit.”
Amelia detailed how she was “so happy” to hold Cassady after all the time she had spent attempting to conceive.
“To finally have her and to hold her in my arms after all of that time trying, it’s like a dream. I’m so happy.
“And she is such a good baby so far, and gorgeous.”
Matthew went on to say: “We’ve just moved on from the tears of joy. I would come in and I would find Amelia holding her just weeping tears of joy. ‘I’m just so happy, I’m so happy.’”
