Shamima Begum, now 19, married a Dutch ISIS fighter. During her stay with the terrorist group she gave birth to two children, both of whom have died. Ms Begum was one of three schoolgirls from the Bethnal Green Academy, in east London, who travelled together to Syria.
Speaking to The Times she commented: “In the end, I just could not endure any more.
“I just couldn’t take it. Now all I want to do is come home to Britain.
“I just want to come home to have my child.
“I’ll do anything required just to be able to come home and live quietly with my child.”
The former ISIS bride is currently living in a refugee camp, having fled an assault on the group in eastern Syria two weeks ago.
