Mr Perez, who wrote and director 40 Days and 40 Nights, claims he asked the Duchess of Sussex if he could buy her a drink at a Hollywood party and she said yes. However, he got “distracted watching the Knicks", a baseball team, and by the time he returned with the drinks she was gone.
