The Duchess of Sussex continues to wow the public with her dress code nine months into her royal role but Meghan’s longtime followers with a keen eye for detail have spotted a change in her wardrobe. While she was known for splashing colour and taking risks with her style during her single days, since marrying into the one of the world’s oldest royal families the expectant mum's outfits have been considerably toned down. These days Meghan, 37, is known more for her conservative, classy and cream-coloured numbers - something which celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson puts down to a number of factors.

Ms Patrickson told the Evening Standard: “Cream is such a flattering tone for anyone with olive or darker complexions.
“It all pops against her dark locks and really makes a statement in a very chic and elegant way.”
Meghan’s lack of colour in her modest outfit choices is also seen as a nod to her in-laws as she tours the globe promoting the royal family’s causes.
