Sales figures from Selfridges show the most popular size bought by women and girls is now up by one chest size and three cup sizes from a 34B 11 years ago.
And in former decades, women who wore bras larger than a C cup were generally considered to have larger than average breasts.
But more than half (53 percent) of cupped bra sales are now a 34DD or larger.
