Simon Cowell, 59, is set to launch two series of The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent this year. The father-of-one is hoping to replicate the success of his franchise America’s Got Talent: The Champions, with two versions of the show. He is in talks with ITV to produce two series for both programmes, however no date or order for the shows have been confirmed yet. The talent scout admitted the “time feels right” to make “huge” changes to The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “I think it’s going to be huge, it’s the best I’ve felt about this show in years.

He continued: “Then next year the main X Factor show will change again and we’ve got something very, very exciting, that I can’t get into yet, but it’s a four-year plan.”
