‘Gone RAPIDLY downhill’ #Grantchester viewers divided over #ITV show's return

Tonight’s edition of the ITV programme saw Will Davenport (played by Tom Brittney) and Geordie Keating (Robson Green) plunged into an entirely new mystery.

Tasked with investigating a murder in a local private school, where the boys joined a specific group and became “Teddy” boys, Will and Geordie struggled with one of their most intense cases yet, particularly because Geordie’s teenage daughter attended the institution.

Leonard Finch (played by Al Weaver) continued to struggle through his sexuality during tonight’s episode, particularly because Mrs Chapman (Tessa Peake-Jones) couldn’t accept his relationship.

The pair were able to meet in the middle by the end of the episode, but viewers were left wondering whether they would ever reconcile.
