#Casualty favourite Connie Beauchamp confirms character death in #HolbyCity ...

Casualty last crossed over with fellow medical drama Holby City way back in 2005, but it’s about to happen again.

The BBC soaps announced the news yesterday and shared a tense trailer to celebrate the momentous news.

Captioned, “THIS IS AN EMERGENCY”, the 40-second teaser sees Holby hospital thrown into turmoil as a cyber attack sweeps all departments.

It’s utter chaos all round as the staff can’t perform their jobs to the best of their ability and they’ve lost all patient data.

Of course for the Casualty side of the duo, it’s potentially life-threatening because their A&E department is brought to a halt.

Connie Beauchamp (played by Amanda Mealing) is forced to make some harrowing decisions as all of the hospital’s monitors go down.

As a result, she has to try to perform surgery on one of her own team members without all of the necessary equipment she needs.

But at the same time, Holby City’s Sacha Levy (Bob Barrett) is in a car crash which also involves Bekka and Darla.

And to make matters worse, one of them could be pregnant.

Noticing what’s going on, Jac Naylor (Rosie Marcel) comes to the rescue and is willing to operate.
