Tonight’s special celebrity edition of the general knowledge quiz saw four teams try to come up with the answers that no-one else could think of.
The show featured Rickie Haywood-Williams and Melvin Odoom, Carol Smillie and Andrea Mclean, Katy Brand and Su Pollard, and Syd Little and Eddie Large.
However, during Alexander’s questioning, he delved into Andrea’s past to find out the secrets behind her career.
Alexander said: “Andrea, welcome. Lovely to have you here on Pointless.

“Now then, so, Loose Women, which you co-chair, anchor, co-anchor is what you do.
“That sort of came about slightly by accident, didn’t it? You were filling in for someone.”
Andrea then explained: “Yeah. I did, Jackie Brambles was hosting, she went on maternity leave.
“I happened to be working in the same building, because I was doing breakfast telly at the time.
“My shift finished as theirs started, and I thought, ‘Well, it saves on travel’.
