Sunday morning will be a dry and bright start for many with some rain in western areas spreading eastwards throughout the day. Scotland will see cloud and outbreaks of rain in western areas with brighter spells across Aberdeenshire. Meteorologist Greg Dewhurst said there will be a ”band of rain” along a frontal system which stretches to the Irish Sea to Wales and the west country. He said: “There will be sunshine and showers across parts of Northern Ireland but much of England and east Wales will be fine and dry with sunshine this morning.”
Sunday itself will see a band of rain push eastwards with parts of Lincolnshire staying dry ahead of it along with east Anglia and southeast England.
Temperatures will stay warm with highs of 12 and 13
